Studies in Political Science

The institute’s BA, MA, and PhD programs have been created in order to develop students' academic competence and personal growth. To achieve this, our international team is focused on knowledge-based research, quality education, and active learning. We value students' desire to learn, this values more to us than previously acquired education. Every day we deal with different societal topics and challenges, but our main focus is on the most important natural resource - people. Professors, lecturers, students, and partners – they are our most valuable asset.

Research

To achieve a better and deeper understanding of society, the Skytte Institute hosts the Center for EU – Russia Studies, the Centre for Applied Social Sciences, and various additional working units where every day we try to understand, give meaning to, and offer solutions to actual problems. Professors, analysts, and students sit down together and attempt to find answers to truly important questions: How can we move forward? Why so and where to?

Johan Skytte Institute of Political Studies

Change is one of the most popular tags of our institute. We adapt every day, and we strive to instill in our partners and students an ideology that encourages, supports, and appreciates initiative, as well as the search for solutions and new ways of thinking. We value both the process and the result. The destination is important, but it is no more important than the journey itself – what you see, learn and experience.
