You can find the formatting requirements for written assignments on this page. These requirements apply to all written work unless more specific guidelines have been established for a particular course. They also apply to bachelor’s and master’s theses.

Guidelines for Written Assignment

PS! The old guidelines apply to the winter defense period of the 2026/27 academic year. The old regulations apply only to students who have already submitted their thesis proposals and who plan to defend their theses in the winter.

After reading the guidelines, you will:

• know the criteria our teaching staff use to assess written work;
• understand how thesis defences are organised at our institute;
• know how to cite sources correctly;
• use the correct title page for written assignments;
• avoid academic misconduct;
• understand how to avoid plagiarism.
