Discussion seminar about the future of Europe

On Friday, 5 October, a project “A Better Europe” will hold its open for students and public discussion seminar “The Future of Europe, the state of the Union and the Election of 2019: scenarios”. The event starts at 15:00, Lossi 36 – 214.

The difficult and long title holds a simple idea. To come together and to collect opinions about the future of Europe. To see what people and students think, to hear different point of views and more generally be more aware of what people around us are thinking about when it comes to EU.

A Better Europe project aims first of all to build a sustainable network to enhance both EU solidarity as well as citizens awareness of the EU and all its doings. It intends to further in non-public sectors the core EU values and to debate EU future. As awareness is first step in creating innovative solutions – this project aims to be people’s first step towards those solutions.

Project objectives are

  • Debate on the future of EU
  • Discuss European Policies and Strategies
  • To promote the UE funding principle of Solidarity between member states and overcome national egoisms;
  • Reflect on the understanding of Euroscepticism
  • Promote, through involvement of the European Solidarity Corps (youth people), the commitment of citizens.
