Study trip introduced EU institutions

On 4-5 May, 23 Master students visited Brussels in the framework of the course “European Integration Theories”.

The aim of the study trip was to introduce students to the functions and working processes of the European Union institutions in Brussels, after having spent the entire semester learning about European integration.

The agenda of the study trip included a visit to the European Parliament, where students were received by Marju Lauristin, the Estonian member of the European Parliament; as well as a visit to the European Council, in light of the upcoming EU Presidency of Estonia, starting on 1 July 2017.

The study trip was supported by Marju Lauristin’s Office at the European Parliament.
