Do you want to make new connections?
We are happy to invite you to participate in the Social Impact Data Hack 2017 that will be held during the weekend of November 10–12 at the University of Tartu Computer Science Institute (Juhan Liivi 2, Tartu).
This 48 hour sprint-like event brings together people from different fields and experiences to work on the same challenges. It is an event where political science students are working side by side with programmers, journalists are working with economists, lawyers are working with designers and so on...
Every expertise is important and we want to provide you with some hands-on experience and allow you to discover new possibilities for how you could positively impact our society through the use of data. And of course this is a fabulous opportunity to network with people from different fields. No previous experience with data analysis or computer science is necessary!
On Friday evening we will meet, form teams and choose questions to answer.
On Saturday we will work-work-work.
On Sunday we will show our results and congratulate the best teams.
Registration deadline is October 23 and participation is free of charge: http://bit.ly/2xuj95v
