The goal of the Cyber Policy Centre is to connect different faculties and institutes, bringing together expertise in non-technical cyber topics that until now has been scattered across the university. The ambition of the center is to become a reliable research partner in the field of cyber policy both within Estonia and in international cooperation, as well as to provide knowledge to the next generation of cyber policy and security experts from us and elsewhere.
As the world becomes increasingly technologically connected and cyber security plays an increasingly important role in national security, governments and organizations must increasingly deal with cyber threats that can disrupt their operations, steal their data or damage their infrastructure. Therefore, cyber policy has become a vital area of research for policy makers, companies and individuals alike.
The Cyber Policy Centre has developed a micro credential Cyber Policy and Law that will be launched in 2024.
