Ukraine Indomitable: How Ukrainians Keep Standing During the War?

We invite you to join us for the lecture by Oleksii Kolesnykov on the topic "Ukraine Indomitable: How Ukrainians Keep Standing During the War?"

Time and venue: November 15th at 16:15. Lossi 36, room 307.

We will discuss what resilience is, analyze the strengths and weaknesses of Ukrainian resilience, and explore practical cases and stories that demonstrate how resilience functions in real life. These examples will highlight the experiences of Ukrainian communities and volunteers overcoming unprecedented challenges due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Oleksii Kolesnykov holds a Ph.D. in Political Science and served for a decade at Chernivtsi National University before joining the Association for Community Self-Organization Assistance. He has led this organization since 2018 and contributed as an expert to the EU-funded Association4U project and assisted the Office of the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the Government Office for Coordination of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration for over six years.

The lecture is organized by J. Skytte Institute of Political Studies within the framework of the project "Supporting Ukraine through Citizen Engagement at Baltic Universities". This project has been funded with the support of the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
