Russian and Eurasian Studies

Russian and Eurasian Studies is a broad interdisciplinary field bringing together the study of history, politics, economic development, society and culture of Northern Eurasia. Its geographical scope is determined by the Soviet legacies, but at present it typically excludes EU member states and candidate countries and focuses on the areas where the pull of Europe is relatively weaker and where various forms of identification with Asia or Eurasia are significantly present.
