The English-language webinar series GoGREEN Tuesdays: Ideas in Action concludes with its final session, focusing on how local governments can attract green investments.

This webinar will explore how municipalities can finance their climate and energy plans, attract funding for the green transition, and turn strong ideas into implementable projects. The webinar is free and open to all interested in local energy and climate policy — including municipalities, energy specialists, planners, policymakers, and community leaders.

  • Roman Kekec – Associate Director and Project Manager at the Local Energy Agency Spodnje Podravje (Slovenia). Roman has extensive experience leading EU-funded sustainability projects and supporting municipalities in the preparation and implementation of local energy plans.
  • Guillermo J. Escobar – Energy Efficiency Consultant and Founder of The Energy Keepers S.L. (Spain). With over 40 years of experience in energy efficiency and renewable energy, Guillermo also lectures at universities and professional associations, sharing his expertise in energy management and financing.
