Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine has fundamentally reshaped the international security landscape and called into question the stability of the existing global order. Are we entering an era of deepening fragmentation in international politics, or witnessing the emergence of a new world order?

Join us for an in-depth public #SkytteTalks discussion on Ukraine, geopolitical turbulence, and Estonia’s foreign and security policy choices in a rapidly transforming world on 5 March 2026 at 14:15 in Lossi 36, room 214.

The event will feature a panel of experts:

  • Rainer Saks – Visiting Professor and expert in international security
  • Kaimo Kuusk – Secretary General of the Estonian Ministry of Defence; Estonia’s Ambassador to Ukraine at the beginning of the war
  • Volodymyr Boiechko – Ambassador of Ukraine to Estonia
The event is moderated by Shpend Kursani (Skytte Institute) and Annabel Lindmets (RSR).
