The Johan Skytte Institute of Political Studies in collaboration with the University of Turku, Tampere University and Kaunas University of Technology are organising the final event “EmpowerAI: Insights, Practice & the Road Ahead,” which will take place on September 9 at the University of Tartu main building (Ülikooli 18 -140).
The main aim of the event is to discuss the outcomes of our collaborative work in developing training resources for the integration of AI into teaching practices as part of the concluding Nordplus project “Empowering Social Sciences Educators on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom”. The programme will feature two panel discussions reflecting on the lessons learned during the project’s pilot implementations, as well as critical perspectives on AI’s impact on analytical skills, assessment practices, and academic integrity in social sciences education.
