European Studies (MA) (taught in Estonian)
European Studies programme is targeted to Estonian speakers and provides an overview of the historical development of the European Union, its current functioning, politics and various international institutions.
While we teach EU policies, current economic issues and political regimes, we also focus on student’s personal development and create comfortable atmosphere to be a leader or work in team.
As we are looking to the future today, all our students are trained in future work competencies, from sense making to cognitive load management. Therefore, there is a great emphasis on project and problem-based learning with large portion of independent work and practice-oriented assignments which allow students to study full time while being occupied with full time job. The study sessions are held in cycles, generally twice a month and on weekends.
Partially study sessions are held in English, which gives students an opportunity to acquire professional vocabulary and increase the level of self-expression, orally and in written.

“The programme was comprehensive enough to provide insight to the EU policies and functioning. It provided with useful basis for understanding EU matters and later also for applying for job in the EU institutions. Last but not least - we had wonderful bunch of people with whom we spent really good time."
